I'm not at all sure what is going around, but I see from FB that Cate is sick, and I stayed home all day with Sammy, who is also sick. I got sick in the morning myself, but it's not as bad as right after chemo. I was hoping I would not get this again until after chemo. I was able to have dinner and so far so good.
I'm looking forward to watching basketball to night. If Butler wins it will really be exciting for the Indy crowd. It's such a small school with a very young head coach. Good Luck Boys!!!
I don't know if everyone saw what happened to that young man that was on Spring break and fell to his death. He had everything to live for and felt the need to get wild and crazy and ended in tragedy. I understand he had a full ride to Notre Dame and probably a professional career also. All I can say is I was at a couple of Spring breaks and advised the parents to not encourage drinking. However I can remember many of the dads who thought they were big shots, buy drinks for 17 and 18 year old boys and girls. I'm not saying they didn't have drinks at my home, but it was never encouraged and never supplied by us. They grow up fast enough, if they do drink, don't let them leave. If they are drinking, don' t let them get crazy. We are the only one's who can watch over them until they are 21. After that, God help them.
I have heard from my California friends and family and all is clear. I do have some good friends in Cabo, I've not heard anything bad about that area. I know the hotels are built to a strong code, but most of the houses are one story and made with not re-bar. I guess the only good thing is that the palm frons that they cover the roofs with are not all that heavy.
That's all for now folks, I'm going to get ready for the game. Tom
