First day after chemo and I'm feeling OK. Now I must say I'm still on some pretty medication, but as long as I'm not in the hospital or praying to the circle basin, I'm happy. I actually got to sleep until 9am.
I did have another thing that happened yesterday at the doctors office with Sue. At the end of the examination she wanted to look at my arm where the operation had been and the radiation recall had flared. When she saw it she noticed that I had some creams on the area. She then says; You know we really need to know what your are putting on that area. I then asked her if it wasn't in the medical records she had in her hands? Nothing she said that she saw. I then mentioned if she had read anything that Dr Rushing had sent them. With a sheepish grin on her face she said that she had not. As she went to that section of the report, there in yellow underlining were the names as well as the directions for what I had on my arm. She then tells me how important it is to have all the information on my records, because of how rare my cancer is and that the radiation recall is the first recorded case in history.
You had to know what was going through my mind as she said it. They practice medicine and it you let them they will practice on you. Why the &%&%%( do they have this information if they don't read it before they come in to see me. As a good attorney will tell you, never ask a question you don't already know the answer too. Otherwise you look like the fool.
As I said befor, I like Sue, she just needs to learn who to prepare for a meeting with her patients. Or the best thing I can think of is that I meet with Adahmi and Sue can be in there watching.
More tomorrow. Tom
