Tuesday 5-11-10

I was thinking it was the 10th again today. I looked up the cost of the air fare to San Diego today, and they want a bunch. I can't believe the American Airlines agent that said the cheapest seat was $525.00 and when I questioned her she got snotty. I hung up and called back to find it was only $375.00 if I flue from Fort Wayne to San Diego. I thought it would be cheaper to fly from Indy to LA so that is what I asked for. It's crazy what they are trying to do with the air fare. This carry on luggage thing is also a rip.

I'm feeling somewhat better today. I was able to get out today for a while and went to breakfast out and then have been working on the computer most of the rest of the day. I have been able to find most of the information I had on the old computer. They just put it on a separate file rather than on documents. If I take my time for the next couple of days, I'm sure I'll find most of it.

Tom Whitney if your listening, send me that info on all the class of
'60 and '61 again. I saved that on my favorites and I can't seem to be able to bring it up. I can get the first one you sent, but not the last one's.

I'm trying to get healthy so I can possibly go to the Indy 500. Cate and Kyle have tickets and I would like to be able to see the race, but climbing all the up to the Paddock Penthouse would be a bitch. Maybe I can just get a seat in the Paddock this time. Sitting I can do no problem. It's walking a couple of miles to get to the seat that I'm a little concerned about. I'm going to try and get to the gym here the next few days and see how much cardio I can get going. When I work on the bike thing I can usually go for 30 minutes. If I don't have to walk much further than that, I should be OK. I'll keep you posted as to how it is going. I'm hoping not to have that last shot after my last chemo treatment. The shot is to bring up your white cells and if I don't have to have any more chemo, I should be able to do that naturally and not have to get that damn shot. We'll see what they say. My last chemo is the 27 and the race is the 30th. that cutting it about as close as I can. If not, I sure I will be feeling much better when Darrin and Riley arrive at the end of the month.

More later. Love to all, Tom
