Big day today, got up at 6am and got ready for the day. BS was as low as it has been for some time 93. That meant that I had to make breakfast very quickly. I don't do well below 100. Many people want to be that low, but I'm much better at around 110 or so. My BP was 128/75 and the HR was still too high at 91. Breakfast was 2 eggs three bacon and one piece of rye toast. I was off to mass at 7:20. I had the Indian priest today and he had one of his days where he starts talking so fast I can't understand him. It started out with Christ ascending into heaven, but he lost me after that. I do remember the last part however. Christ is the one you can count on.
After mass Sharon and I got ready to go to Indy and see Cate and Kyle perform their dance. They have been taking dance for the past several months so they will be all ready for a 7 wedding summer. They were like number 75 so you had to sit through all the other dances if you were a true dance lover. And you got to know where I fit in there. I did do it however. Bob, Kyle's father, some how had a deal at church that he just had to go to after about 30 min. We got there at one and they danced at three. There were some good dancers, but the thing I loved to do is watch the dance instructors prancing around the room getting all the students to get ready etc. You could dance with your own partner like Cate and Kyle did, or you can dance with your instructor or a friend. I can't take two ladies dancing together. Much less two guys. That didn't happen. But there were many that probably would have preferred dancing with a guy rather than some of the partners they were paired with. I'm not sure what motivates people to take dance lesions, but some of the older ladies I think love those little instructors. They had one guy in a wheel chair that sort of freaked me out at first, but he had two girls that fought over him and it was one of the funniest numbers of the day.
Believe it or not, Cate and Kyle's performance was one of the best of the beginners. They rate the dancers as to how long they have been dancing etc. Cate and Kyle were at the first level. After they performed, their instructors came over and said what a good job they did for their first performance. After that we decided it was time to leave and we headed for Granite City for a bit to eat. I must say the flat bread pizza was good. I was not all that hungry and I didn't want much, but for a very plain pizza, the peperoni pizza was OK. After dinner Sharon slept and I drove home. Sharon's comment as we pulled into Fort Wayne was: It sure is nice to have a day where I didn't have to do a damn thing. It makes me feel good to be able to do something for her, because she works 7 days a week at the Essen House and then comes home and does house work.
It's almost 10pm and I'm heading to bed. More tomorrow Tom
