Believe it or not this is my 180 blog. That's damn near one a day for a year, I mean one every other day for a year. It's that damn chemo brain already. I know what I want to say the fingers and brain can't get it together. I tell you kids, it ain't my fault. I can spel add and do at that stuff, it m mind that gets it all wrong. I smrt as can bea.
Well today is the last of the single chemo's. One more next week, and then get well and have surgery. I can't wait in once seance, but not really excited about the surgery. It's like the old thing and the stepping into the fire. It hurts like hell when you do it, but feels so good when you stop.
Next Thursday is my last of the two chemo treatments. I'm hopping that I don't have to get the stuff for the white cells. I'm actually going to Carlsbad on the 3rd of June and not coming back until the 20th. they said I need to really get fit in order to get ready for the surgery. We have a great workout room and plenty of sidewalk to walk along the beach. the great thing is they have about three miles up an incline, and benches along the way. It's easy to walk until your tired, it a bitch when you have lasted as long as you can and have no way of getting back. With me, I'll go as long as I can and then sit until I feel I can make it back. If not I sit my ass down and wait until I feel I can go on. It's not as thought I trying to win a race. I'm just trying to push myself to get stronger and better cardio.
If anyone from the Carlsbad area is still reading this blog, know that I am available for what ever. I'm also thinking about going over to Phoenix to see some of my property and see Karen, so know that Karen, I know you sometimes read this blog.. I also have a very close friend in Wickenberg who owns two nice ranches one in the Wickenberg area and one in Big Timber Montana, who I just might drop in on. To say you are going to drop in on him is a misnomer. His drive way in Montana is 28 miles from the lower ranch to the upper ranch. If he doesn't know your coming, you might miss him for a week or more. Arizona is not so bad. It only about 8 mile from his house to where the cows etc are housed. He has a an unbelievable set up on the ranch. He has three or four actual rail road cars set up. One is a bunk house which was a passenger sleeping car or just one car that was set up for someone to live in. He also had a cook shack as he calls it. It must have been where they cooked for the train and then a mail room car that he uses for supplies etc. There are a bunch of corrals and other out buildings, but it's like a scene out of a western movie. He always kids about have a place to stay if France, his wife, ever wants to get rid of him for a while. With all this he still does not own a computer or an internet connection, so I don't have to worry that he will read this blog. and see what I have to say about him. He also has a beautiful home, but if I don't let him know I'm coming, I'll end up in the bunk house for sure. Hell one time in the Kaibab, he put me in a horse trailer and he sleep in the back of a camper in a warm sleeping bag. I was under a horse blanket. He didn't tell me to bring a sleeping bag etc. he just assumed I traveled with such supplies. Hell doesn't everyone?
Just so you know and for those keeping score, my BP 120/60 and HR 72. See when I've had a week or so off, I bounce right back. I also have put on 5 lbs. which he said is good. My other problem however is my hemoglobin is 8.5 and it should be at least 10 and 12 is best. I've got to bring that up for the next chemo and he surgery. It's what gives you energy etc. At this point I'm very low on energy. I feel OK, I just cant do ^%$#&#^.
That's it for today, Love ya all Tom
