Just got back from my infusion and wanted to let everyone know what will probably happen next. I have a CT Scan on the 10th. to see what my lungs look like. We know I have 5 Sarcomas on them now, we hope that is all there is. We also hope they have not grown much. Since this infection is giving me soo much trouble, I will probably not be able to get much more if any Chemo. I see Dr. Rushing in Indy on the 12th. to read the CT Scan and to see what is next. It is my feeling that after the 23rd., when the infusions stop, he will want to do surgery on anything on my lungs. I'm praying there are still only 5 and that they have not grown much.
From the very beginning Dr. Rushing told us that Chemo could not kill the Sarcoma's. They might be able to kill the very very small one's, but nothing that is seen by a CT Scan. His only hope with Chemo was to kill any that may have escaped from the first Sarcoma. Please pray with us that there will only be 5 of those little suckers on my lungs and they are able to be removed easily. If there is ever going to be a miracle, this is when it can happen. If this is done, and I'm clear for a while, I will be the happiest man alive.
Thanks for your interest.
