Monday 3-8-10

On a quest today to find suction cup grab bars and combo shower head and hand held shower head. I went to my infusion today and talked to one of the nurses that reminded me about what I needed in my shower or bath when I have had surgery. As she said, I will probably need something to sit on and grab bars and a shower head that you can hold and direct the spray. As she said, I will not want to get certain parts of my body wet for the first week or so after surgery. I'm glad she mentioned it to me again. because I remember that she mentioned it to me once before, but I forgot about it. On ebay I have found several that look good, I think I will check out some of the box stores and see if I can buy them here locally. That way I don't have to wonder if they will work or not. Some people on ebay work well with sending items back, others don't.

We stayed up and watched the Oscar's last night. The first part was fun and funny, then it started to get real boring. I really only want to know who was the best actor and actress and maybe supporting actor and actress. I want to know the best picture, but that about as much excitement as I really care to see. Unfortunately last night the board the **&*&^% out of me for most of the night. I was happy to see Sandra B win best actress. She was great in Blind Side. Right after I saw that movie I said to myself, she will win best actress for that roll. I was also happy with the other winners. Jeff Bridges was great according to Tom. I loved the show, Sea Hunt, that he and his dad had in the '50's & '60's. The guy from Inglorious Bastards was great also. You just loved to hate him so much.

Well it's 2:40 and I only got 5 hours sleep last night, so I'm going to bed for a while. Oh yea blood pressure 129/62. BS 103 this morning after a long john and four peeps. Oxygen level 98% and my temp was 97.8. If all my vitals are so good, why do I have no energy?????
