July 6th. Monday

Big day today, the front door lock is broken, the fun part is, Dave and I took it all apart, Dave left saying it was no big deal to fix it, the big deal is, the lock smith is closed today. So I got a door that can't lock and the neighbors were broken into last week. The next thing I learned is that it is 30 years old and they don't make that kind of cylinder anymore. I can have one made for $135.00 but it will take a week or more.



I just picked up the part for my swimming pool heater that would only take a week or so, it's been three weeks. But hay, who's counting. Now if I can find someone who knows how to switch a propane heater into a natural gas heater it will all be good.



I'm feeling a little slow today. My BS was back to 198 and I'm not sure why. I had an ear of corn last night but that was the only thing that should have effected the BS. I just had some NS cereal and an English muffin for breakfast. I'll just have a salad for lunch.



Bill Goan; It was good to hear from you, if you want marlin pictures, go onto the McLaughlin boy in Cabo 2007 and 2008. It's on the blog at the bottom of the blog right hand side. We have some great action shots on the 08 and some good pictures on the 07 blog. I'm still waiting to see you my friend.

Got into the water today but the 78 degree water is a little cool to swim very long. I get hives if I stay in the water much more than twenty minutes. I hope to have Louis switch the element over to natural gas sometime tomorrow. I wasn't feeling all that well when I got in the water, but it felt good to get in for the short time I was there.

No big plans for this evening, so I'll sign off for today.
